Candrina Investments,the new owners of Glen Forest Memorial Park have moved on site and are working on a new phase of the infrastructural development.
Currently the Project Manager, Wilfred Mapfumo, is devoting his energy to overseeing the continued development of the roads, the landscaping of the memorial areas. To meet demand new sections are under constant development. Evidence of the great progress already made can be seen in the photo gallery of this site.
Candrina are very innovative and have researched many ways of the delivering the road systems that Glen Forest Memorial Park requires.
To this end a second entrance has been cut and Glen Forest can now be entered through two distinct roads. The services of a Mr. Rob Greebe, a road builder throughout Mozambique and Zimbabwe, have been retained and it is believed that Candrina's Project Manager and Mr. Greebe are working well together.
At the insistance of Wilfred a new road making technoque, using technology from South Africa, has been employed on site. At this stage a 100 metre stretch has been completed and this is now under test. It has been reported to the writer that some extreme tests have been done on the road with surprisingly good results.
